There are many situations where mail and FTP can even be used together. For example, we recommend that you should use the export tool to backup your mails and settings on a weekly basis. You can use FTP to download the backup file from the server and burn it to CD so that you can safely recover from any serious server hardware fault. Perhaps you want to customize the WebMail templates using your favorite HTML editor (e.g. Dreamweaver or FrontPage). Use FTP to download a copy of the template, customize the template then use FTP again to re-upload the template to the server. |
